A Talk at the Campus Crusade Meeting on prayer
One of the things that Brett was passionate about was prayer. Not just for himself, but the importance of prayer in someone's personal life and the importance of prayer as the heartbeat of a minsitry. This was evident in how he spoke and lived his life. Hersh led the Crusade prayer movement that was called "616" because it started at 6:16 every Tuesday night. The meeting was in Indiana University's biggest lecture hall due to Brett's vision for the prayer meeting to grow so that we would need the 400+ seats to accomodate a room full of students.
